The results are in! 2012 was a record-breaking year for eCommerce and Cyber Monday was no different. Overall 2012 saw an increase in online holiday sales, with Thanksgiving increasing whopping 32% more than 2011 and Cyber Monday spending increasing 17%. So just how big was Cyber Monday?
• Consumers spent $1,465 MILLION on Cyber Monday over $1,251 in 2011
• 47% of consumers said they made online purchases at home AND at work
• Digital content and subscriptions saw the greatest increase in sales over last year with 28% followed by electronics with 24%, computer hardware 22% and video games at 18%
