On January 25th and 26th, 3dcart will be participating in the North American Bitcoin Conference at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This is a “direction-setting conference aimed at driving the currency from speculation to mainstream,” according to the event’s website, and our executive staff will be on hand to answer all of your Bitcoin questions as they relate to 3dcart specifically and eCommerce in general.

“As part of its mission to grow bitcoin use, the NABC will also offer workshops targeted at merchants, and act as a forum for vendors, exhibitors and recent bitcoin startups to share their latest innovations and inform discussions. In addition, regulators, banks and government officials will be on hand to lead panel discussions that are light on fluff and heavy on content.”

If you’re in the South Florida are and want to catch a glimpse of the future, then we encourage your to register for the event using the ticket widget at the bottom of this post or by visiting the NABC event page.

When we announced our industry partnership with BitPay in August of 2013, we became the first SaaS eCommerce solution to give online store owners the option to accept Bitcoins as payment for goods and services.  And as a 3dcart store owner interested in Bitcoins, you have two options:

  • Merchants can get paid in USD if they do not want to manage Bitcoins themselves.
  • Merchants can opt to keep Bitcoins and manage them directly via a Bitcoin wallet.

By giving users a choice, we aim to have every 3dcart user integrate BitPay, not just those familiar with Bitcoins/Bitcoin management.

Since there is virtually no risk in accepting Bitcoins, we think it makes sense to configure the BitPay payment solution inside your 3dcart store(s) immediately. For a detailed tutorial on how to do this, please visit: http://blog.3dcart.com/configure-your-3dcart-store-to-accept-bitcoins-today/
